The Owner’s Refrigeration Roots Run Deep

The owner began his career as a restaurant owner and manager, where he started thinking more about refrigeration problems and solutions.  In a companion business, he owned a local restaurant supply store, called “JP’s Restaurant Supply,” with two Orlando locations (one very close to Kissimmee).  Building restaurants, including both refrigeration and HVAC work, grew out of that store.  Because he liked driving around in his truck, and working on location, with his hands, the owner eventually shifted to service HVACR service work for all businesses, not just restaurants.  He left those supply stores in his family’s hands (and they continue operating under the name “International Restaurant Distributors,” or IRD).  Then he focused his energy entirely on learning everything related to commercial refrigeration (and HVAC) service, which nicely complimented his commercial refrigeration installation and repair knowledge.
